20 years ago, I dedicated a significant time of my life in art. My first sculpture was my favorite object.
I still remember counting the time to harden the resin fiberglass and its smell. It was miracle breaking the mold and seeing my art. The white marble garden table was the victim of my art but I was so excited with the result.
The marble garden table was not the only victim as I realized very soon that any favorite object could be destroyed accidentally or intentionally. This is the fate of art. A lesson learned in art is to create but then not to be addicted with your creation but to leave them live.
For me the absence of a favorite object is a very conscious choice and really makes me feel free without the burden of only one object.
